Clipboard Master

With Clipboard Master you cam

• Trim text (remove leading and trailing spaces and special characters)
• Fix coded special characters
• Change the case
• Convert numbers: from/to decimal, hexadecimal, binary
• Convert text: from/to hexadecinal string
• Shorten URLs
  
  

Trim text

Select a item in the list and press 'F6': leading and trailing spaces will be removed.
Press 'F6' again: all leading and trailing special characters like $ ! will be removed.

You can use the conmext menu for that as well.

Fix text

Sometime special chracters are coded, e.g. ü or ü. Press F7 to convert these coded characters to the real character.

Change to upper/lower case

  Shift + Ctrl + L:    convert all to lower case
  Shift + Ctrl + U:    convert all to upper case
  Shift + Ctrl + P:    Lower case with the 1st chatracter of each word upper case

Convert number to and from decimal, hexadecimal and binary

  Shift + Ctrl + X:   to hexadecimal
  Shift + Ctrl + D:   to decimal
  Shift + Ctrl + B:   to binary

Hexadecimal number will get a leding '0x'. You can change that in the Settings.

Convert text to and form hexadecimal strings

  Ctrl + F5: Convert Hexadecimal string to text
  Ctrl + F6: Convert to Hexadecimal string

E.g.  'Text' is as Hexadecimal string: 5465787420

Shorten URLs

With Clipboard Master you can paste URLs shortened, how they are used on twitter, Facebook, blogs, etc.

Clipboard Master can use the services urly.de or tinyurl.com for the shortening.

Paste as shortened URL:
Press AltGr + U to paste the last copied URL as shortened URL.
Or call Clipboard Master (e.g. with 'Windows' + 'V'), select the URL and press Ctrl + U, or use the context menu.
