Clipboard Master

Move the mouse pointer to the element or window you want to capture and press <Enter> or the left mouse button. The Screenshot will be created and opened/pasted directly in the configured program or your default editor for grafics.
 

Select an area manually

To select an area manually just press <Print> twice

Or you can select the window/control unuder the mouse pointer and press <Space>. With this the area will be fixed and moving the mouse pointer wont change it.
Now you can modify the selcted area with the keyboard or with the mouse.
